Woodside Support offers a range of highly flexible services to suit personal and household needs.

Shopping & Errands

We can help you with a range of personal shopping needs and running errands, from groceries, meal deliveries, and clothing, to Birthday cards, flowers or gifts for those special occasions! We can accompany you while you shop, or simply help you to order online, or over the phone - the choice is yours!

Paperwork & Forms

Keeping on top of post and managing formal paperwork and bills can be be overwhelming. We can help you to sort through your post and general paperwork, assisting with replies and actions as required. We can also help you with the more personal side of things, like helping you to write letters and cards to loved ones, and sourcing gifts. We can even post your letters and gifts for you.

Home & Garden

We offer assistance with keeping your home tidy and organised. We can also help with light domestic/housekeeping tasks such as dusting, organising, decluttering and changing beds. Also, using your washing machine/tumble drier, we can help you with your washing and drying needs. If you need help in the garden, we can assist you with light gardening duties such as weeding, pruning, watering and potting.

Activities

Keeping active and/or busy and spending time around other people can be extremely beneficial to a persons general well-being. We can help you to connect with friends and family, help you to find and book in to local groups or activities of interest, and support you with your hobbies, also attending events, groups, or classes with you to boost your confidence. We can also join you for walks, or just have coffee and chats at home if you prefer, or perhaps a board game or puzzle or two. We can work together to find what works well for you, and makes you comfortable and happy.

Signposting & Referrals

If you find that you need additional support services, such as personal or nursing care, or advice about finance or health for example, we can work with you to point you in the right direction. We can assist you with identifying and accessing services or information according to your requirements, offering support where we can to see you through the process.

Appointments & Schedules

We can help you to schedule your days or weeks, and help you to make and attend appointments. This might include medical appointments, or bookings for hair cuts, dinner, or clubs. We can also set reminders for you so that important bookings aren't forgotten.

Welfare Checks & Home Minding

Are you looking for peace of mind? We can offer regular basic 'pop in' visits (currently covering Barton On Sea & New Milton) or telephone calls to check on the welfare of individuals at home. This is a valuable service for families who live a long distance apart from relatives..

If you need to be away from your home for a few days/weeks, for example for a hospital stay, you can arrange for us to mind your home. We can visit your home regularly while you are away, to check things are in order, to pick up post or to feed your fish for example.

Pet Care

Here at Woodside Support, we absolutely love animals! We can offer you support with caring for your pet. We can help you with things like walking your dog, feeding your pet/s and making and attending veterinary appointments with you.

Personal Care

Unfortunately, Woodside Support cannot offer nursing or ‘personal care’ services (such as washing, bathing, dressing or administering medication). Paid services of this type are already delivered throughout Hampshire by a number of wonderful registered care providers and agencies who are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Costs

Our initial personal home consultation visit is free. *

All of our services are charged at £15.00** per hour (minimum booking 1 hour)

Pre-booked slots charged at £15.00** per hour

* One consultation per customer

** An additional travel charge of 40p per mile is payable for requested services where the use of our own vehicle is necessary
